Dietary guide
If you have a serious allergy, talk to us
Everything below describes what we have recorded. It is not a substitute for telling staff about a serious allergy — our kitchen is small and shared, and we would rather have the conversation.
Labels come from our recipes
Every dietary label you see on an item was recorded by potpourri against that item's recipe. We show them exactly as recorded. We never infer one label from another, and we never combine ingredients to reach a conclusion the recipe does not state.
No label means "not stated", not "free from"
Most items on our menu carry no dietary labels at all. Where that is the case the item says "Dietary information not stated". That means we do not know, and you should ask — it does not mean the item is free from anything.
Some choices change the answer
A few options — milk on a coffee, bread on a breakfast — change what an item contains. Where that is true we mark the choice, we never pick one for you, and we never fill in a default. The dietary result shown on your order is calculated from the exact options you chose.
Allergen wording is printed as written
Where we have recorded allergen wording we print it in full rather than shortening it to a keyword. "May contain traces of nuts" and "contains nuts" are different statements, and the difference matters.
